Warm-up, Cool-down, Stretch and Strengthen
Warming up, conditioning, flexibility training, and cooling down are very important to your practice. It will prevent injury, improve your range of motion, and bring your heart rate back down after your practice session.
After your practice, make sure you take time to bring your heart rate down and stretch out those muscles you just worked.
