Thank you, Steven, for sharing this awesome shoulder mount move!  The shoulder mount is such an essential and useful skill that you want to feel 100% comfortable doing before you attempt this.  Steven breaks it down into 5 steps

1) Step forward with your outside leg.  If you are right-shoulder shoulder mount, step forward with your right leg.

2) Come into a standing split with your inside leg

3) Cup the pole at your heart height.

4) Move your head to the other side of the pole.

5) Bring the inside leg over and bend the knee as you land on your foot while you bring the second leg over.
